_____________________________________ Thursday, January 27, 2022 Busy day but no photos. I started the day by doing last night's Webpage post. Next, drove to Costco for a few grocery items and to order some new BF Goodrich tires for the Subaru Forester. After Costco I visited our only bike shop in Roseburg to get a patch kit and some tubes. After returning home I pressure washed the motorhome and my bike to get all the mud and sand off. After picking up the mail I took Abby for a walk. Today is Abby's two year birthday. _____________________________________ Tuesday, January 25, 2022 A busy day with multiple errands and activities. The day began with the Stage 5 of the Tour de Zwift. Then I located my sleeping bag to learn if Glen wanted to buy it. I stuffed and measured it and learned it was too big for Glen's purpose. I retrieved Gwen's computer from the repair store followed by a visit to the Les Schwabb tire shop for a quote on Subaru tires. Next came dinner followed by a meetup with son Joe on Zwift. My computer is also acting strangely so it may also have to go to the repair shop. _____________________________________ Wednesday, January 19, 2022 Two Zwift rides today. The first was with son Ben and friend, Jami. A triangle of riders. Ben in Reno, Jami in Colorado and me in Sutherlin. A nice hour ride. The second ride was late in the afternoon with Brook. She is doing really well on Zwift. We rode together in an event which is much more difficult than a meetup. _____________________________________ Tuesday, January 18, 2022 The day began, of course, with another Zwift ride. This time with an old friend, Jami who has moved to Colorado. He just setup his smart trainer and joined Zwift. I scheduled the meetup with him to begin only an hour after I learned Jami was on Zwift. After the ride I did some tree trimming and yard cleanup. _____________________________________ Thursday, January 13, 2022 First thing this morning I rode with the ZZRC group on what they called a recovery ride led by one leader. It began nice and easy but as the ride progressed the leader increased his tempo especially on the hills. So the ride was not a recovery ride for me. After the ride I had a meeting with AnyTime fitness to learn how to do weight training. I drove to AnyTime Fitness where I have a membership which I have not used in years. The training advice I've been reading says I should do weight training.
