Part of my living in
a CoOp RV Park is to
volunteer for some duty in
the park. I have volunteered to
keep the bathrooms clean in the
clubhouse. So I did my volunteer
work today as I do several times
each week. After lunch and while
Gwen was away, I did a Zwift ride until
Gwen returned. Gwen fixed a lovely
pizza with cauliflower crust. We then
spent the evening watching the popular British
mystery series, "Midsomer Murders"

This is "President's Day" but it
is also TAX day for us. I worked
all day on our tax return only to
learn that we owe both federal
and state governments. However,
after I finished the returns we
celebrated by visiting one of our
favorite cafes for a late lunch, early
dinner. Tomorrow is an all day Zwift
ride for me as I attempt to ride 75 miles
on my smart trainer to celebrate my
75th birthday.

I don't remember the last
time I have had to put the spare tire
onto a vehicle but I had to today. After
dropping the wheel off for repair we took
ourselves to a whole food plant-based restaurant.

I made myself French Toast
with real Maple syrup. Then
I repaired our broken Corian countertop
for the fifth time. Then I worked
on a birthday gift for Erik. I chose to
do a real road ride which turned into
21.5 miles before dinner. We watched
some of the Winter Olympics before
becoming bored and switched to
stupid sitcoms on CBS.

The last couple of bike rides
have been tough so I chose to do a "recovery ride"
today. My goal was to NOT sweat. I didn't meet that
goal even though I was working at NOT working hard.
Next, I took Abby for a walk and Gwen joined us for
the first time. After lunch, I took myself to the
gym to do some easy exercises. So much for
an easy relaxing day. I ended the day by watching
more events on the Winter Olympics.

I call this an errand day.
The day started with feeding Abby
then banana waffles for myself (and Abby got
a bite too) . Abby and I took the propane tank to the office for filling. We also took the trash to the bin. Abby loves golf cart rides but she also likes running in the storage area so that is where I took her next. Back at the motorhome I spent much of the afternoon fixing the table attached to the passenger chair. Next, I finally had enough time to Zwift for 40 minutes. After dinner I checked donations to St Jude Hospital from my fundraising 200 mile January challenge. It has reached $565 which pleasantly surprises me.
