Today is the
first day of the
Parker 425 Desert Race.
It begins in Parker, Arizona
and runs through the desert with
a spectator area only about 4 miles
from us. It is a two day race.

At first, this was a day of waiting
for friends to arrive. I learned they would not
arrive until after lunch so I got more water and went to the library for Internet access. I finished just in time to lead Gary and Jeanne to a great parking spot near us. While they set up camp I drove Mz Ruby to the county park dump station to empty the holding tanks. Once I returned, I visited with them for a couple hours. We have much planned together for the time they are here. 		60.5/50.1

Every day should have weather
like today! Yesterday I flew my parafoil
kite and it nearly carried me away in a 20 mph
wind. Today, no wind. I attempted to take a video
while riding the desert roads but set the camera
wrong so no video today. I also got a new "toy"
for the desert but still learning how to use it. You
will hear more of that in a few days or weeks.
