A very busy day. It began early with
my annual blood test followed by breakfast
since I was fasting for the blood test. Then
a trip to recycle to turn in all the bottles
we had been saving. This was followed by a
trip to Home Depot to get the paint we had
chosen for the kitchen cabinets. Then came
a trip across town to the dermatologist. I was
surprised with that visit taking only a few
minutes. I had made a tight schedule so my
next appointment was with my chiropractor.
That finished all my healthcare visits but I
had also scheduled a visit to Costco to get the
tires rotated on the Forester. Yesterday was
the first day of the current Costco sales
prices so I had made a shopping list which I
completed while the tires were getting rotated.
Finally, the day's schedule is completed and
it's time to return home.

Gwen and I kept our optometrist
appointments today. We wouldn't dare
give them up or delay since it takes 6 months
to get an appointment. We then made a
whirlwind trip to Grants Pass, Oregon to
catch Gwen's son David after a dentist
visit. We enjoyed a meal at Red
Robin during the visit.

I rode one of my favorite rides
today over Oak Hill, Garden Valley,
climbed Cole Road, passed through
the Rochester Covered Bridge to
Starnes Road then Old 99 back to
Sutherlin. Once home I did a little
painting on the utility trailer before
dinner time.

I was able to take the garage sale left-overs
to St. Vincent de Paul this morning. I also
sold the wet suit to a guy in New York via
Facebook. After shipping the wet suit, Gwen and
I drove to Roseburg for grocery shopping and
for a trip to Home Depot to continue searching
for the right kitchen cabinet paint color.
