The day began early with Gwen
leaving with the "girls" for
garage sales. I finished watching
the 19th stage of the Tour de France
then a replay of day 7 of the World
Track and Field Championships happening
in Eugene. It is interesting, even though
the events are happening in Eugene, Oregon,
just one hour from us, the commentator has
a British accent. The athletes are from all
over the world making Eugene very busy.
During the afternoon I made sure my
bicycle was ready for a long ride
which is happening tomorrow
with Glen.

I watched the 18th stage of
the Tour de France then watched
some of the World Track and Field
Championships happening in
Eugene, Oregon. After watching so
much athletics I had to take myself
on another 28 mile ride before attending
the second concert in the Sutherlin park.

Our day began with a trip
to T-Mobile in Roseburg to learn
if their Internet "Gateway" will work in
Bouse, Arizona where we plan to
spend much of the winter. Then we
visited Costco looking for a birthday
gift for my granddaughter, Elise turning
four this week. In the early evening
I did a Zwift ride with son Ben and
his lady friend, Melissa.

My day started with coffee
then a trip to Roseburg for
a medical checkup. That
turned out good. My next stop
was at the Oregon recycle building
to get rid of two big bags of cans
and bottles. Costco was my last
stop in Roseburg. I wanted to give
Bill at Stearns Hardware in Oakland
some business so I went to him to
copy a key. He didn't have the blank
and directed me back to Roseburg.
I returned home for a late lunch
and later to do a Zwift ride. I spent much
of the day researching T-Mobile because
we plan to return to Bouse, Arizona this
winter and there is a huge T-Mobile
tower in south Bouse. I am hoping
for Internet access from that tower.

Willamette Scenic Bikeway
starting tomorrow morning. It
will be an overnight ride totaling
about 140 miles. Glen and Erik will
be my ride partners again. This should
be easy compared to the Old West
Scenic Bikeway we rode in May.

Traveling today from Brookings
to Sutherlin, Oregon.  The sky changed
from overcast to clear as we drove north.
The temperature also increased from
60 to 80. The clouds seemed to follow us
because we ended up with overcast by
6 pm. I met Larry in Brookings and
rode his tricycle.

First item on the project list
was to add an outlet in the garage
ceiling next to the second garage door
opener. Current power is from an extension
cord from the first garage door opener. When
that was completed I finished two
special kitchen project requested by
Brook. Last, I assembled Brook's
Zwift bike and did a Zwift ride.

I was able to change a few
breakers today to save space
in the panel. However two out of
five of the new breakers were defective.
The screw for the hot wire was set SO snug
it would not loosen. Seems like that's the way
all my electrical projects have gone since
arriving. All the rest of the day was spent
pressure washing the patio and driveway.
