Just for fun, we drove to Costco
this afternoon. We were surprised,
it was the least busy of any day
we have visited Costco. This morning
I was able to capture the snow on top
of Mt. Lemmon, the first we have seen this
season.

This has been an unusual day
only because of what the local
weatherman calls a "weather event".
It has been raining all day. We took ourselves
to breakfast to celebrate the rain. The rest
of the day has been inside making a tiny
repair to one of my tools. I also got a replacement
ROKU system because the current ROKU has been
causing problems. The new system is much better
and hard wired to the router rather than wireless.
That seems to have made a difference, no problems
with the new ROKU. I'm hoping all these desert plants
are soaking up all this rain. They have been very dry.

Gwen and I drive into the Saguaro National
Park East. It is nearby our resort and a popular
place to ride a bicycle. It has a paved 8 mile one
way loop which cyclist like to ride. We drove the
route and took photos.

My activities today were to ride
Zwift with son Ben in Reno and
four friends in Roseburg, Oregon.
It was set to ride 54 km. I knew before
the ride it would take about 2 hours to
complete this ride, the longest ride I've done
since arriving in Arizona. Indeed, the ride took
1 hour and 59 minutes so my estimate was spot
on. After the Zwift ride, I hopped onto the trike
and took the garbage to the bins and Abby on a
run. Then it was time to watch a few college
bowl games for the rest of the day.

of Arizona game, this time the ladies
basketball team.

Gwen and I went shopping at
Hobby Lobby specifically to dress up
the kitchen cabinets. We are both anxious
to visit the African Market again when it opens
in late January but these decorations will please us
until then.
