Day Ride.

The plan today was to do
a road ride with my cycling
club but it got rained out so
I rode Zwift instead. There is
another club ride planned tomorrow
I'm hoping for better weather. The
next plan for the day was to get our
hanging flower basket from the
high school FFA club. They have a
fabulous plant sale every spring. After
picking up the basket I had planned to attend
a clubhouse meeting with a speaker I was
interested in. Unfortunately that speaker has
postponed until May. So Gwen and I drove
to Roseburg to checkout kitchen sinks. We have
to know what sink and what counter Gwen wants
before I can build cabinets. We were able to see a rock
and resin kitchen sink which was at the top of
our interest list. We made sure to get back to
Sutherlin so Gwen could play Po-keno.

bought in Tucson.

I ran a bunch of errands
into Roseburg. For example:
I picked up the paint for
the trailer, I took a load to
recycle, and I returned an item
to Amazon by dropping it off
at UPS. I finished off the day with
a short ride on Zwift. There were
intermittent showers all day.

This foggy morning slowly
turned into clear skies in time
for dinner. I spent the morning cleaning
then organizing. After lunch I took myself
for a short ride then a shower and dinner. I'm
planning a long ride on Saturday. It is a supported
ride out of Brownsville, Oregon so a new area.
This is too long a ride too soon for me so
it is going to hurt. My friend, Glen is twisting
my arm to do this ride. I will admit the ride
is attractive to me because it is in a new
area and supported with breakfast, lunch and
rest stops.

It began with an annual medical
check-up for me. Then grocery shopping
followed by a shopping trip to Harbor
