Our neighbor down the street found a puppy
on her deck. This puppy we are calling "Brindle",
due to his coat color, did not want any of the other
30 units on the street, just this neighbor. Jane already
has two dogs so maybe that is the reason. I learned of
the visiting dog through the Facebook post from Jane
asking if any in our park knew where this dog belonged.
This reminded me a lot of the desert dog which began
to visit us back in December, 2017. I subscribe to a neighborhood
watch APP and see lost dog posts all the time so I volunteered
to post an announcement to that APP. So far no one has claimed
the dog but one person is interested in adopting. The dog
has been neutered and seems well cared for so I believe may
have come from a shelter. If so, it will also be chipped since
all shelters chip their strays before they are adopted. Jane
will have the dog checked for a chip tomorrow morning.
I wonder if Abby would like a roommate? I have walked
Brindle once and Gwen with Abby has walked Brindle once.
He is well behaved and house broken.

This day began with the "Walk Around Sale". That's like a
garage sale at participating lots. About half the participants
were offering items for free, the other were just cheap. I
had already found a leaf blower yesterday which had enough
power to blow rocks out of our street. It was only $10. I found
nothing today. I helped a friend by taking his leftover items
to our favorite thrift store. I rode Zwift with friend Glen who is
in Roseburg, Oregon. After that it was time for football.

Gwen and Jeanne. They came home
