My son, Joe, arrived this afternoon along
with his dog, Casey. Dave has not had a sleep-over
dog friend before but since he likes all dogs
they get along just fine. Joe and I took the
dogs for a long walk. Dave spotted two rabbits
and disappeared for a few minutes but found
me on the trail pretty quickly. He has been wanting
to chase rabbits but this was his first time. I
cooked the Costco Lasagna which we both enjoyed.

Dave and I made an early trip to Costco
to get a lasagna to have on hand when
my son, Joe visits tomorrow. Then we
watched a rerun of Stage 9 of the women's
Tour de France. We followed that with the
U20 World Track meet happening in Eugene.
I did the laundry while Dave watched the
track meet.

Sports and house cleaning today.
The women's Tour de France this morning.
Late morning and evening is the U20 Track
meet is Eugene. In between I cleaned house and
made a few simple repairs, for example replacing
a blind slat.

This was a sports day! I watched the women's
Tour de France this morning. It was followed by
the World U20 Track Meet in Eugene (Track City), Oregon.
That was followed by the first NFL football game between
the Cardinals and Panthers.

Dave and I went grocery shopping
today. First to Costco then to Sherms,
a locally owned grocery store. I specifically went
to Sherms thinking they might have the protein
bars which have been recommended. Nope, no
protein bars. Winco is next door to Sherms. It
came to Roseburg only a year ago. Winco prices
are at least 25% less than Sherms, for example,
$3 for creamer compared to $5.29 at Sherms.
Still, Sherms was busy. Maybe because you must
use cash or ATM card at Winco. So shoppers can buy
on credit at Sherms.

This is the first RV we have owned which
would stay cool in hot weather. I have the
AC set to keep the inside at 78 because
that is where Gwen likes it. She is not here
but this is practice for next year.

After doggie morning this was house cleaning
and laundry day. Of course I watched Stage 3
of the women's Tour de France. The yellow jersey
changed bodies today because the woman from
Norway won the longest solo win in TdF history.

Dave and I drove to Goshen, Oregon today
to have a barbecue with Kelly, Mary and
Daryl. They are our friends from Arizona looking
for a new house in Oregon. I got to hear about the
house they believe they will purchase. The inspector
will tour it on Tuesday. It sounds exciting and
perfect for their situation.

This photo was taken on my patio where I keep
a bed I purchased for Dave. When I was in
our little travel trailer, Dave used it. When I
moved to the Teton Homes he refused it. This
little guy has adopted the corner of the bed. It's
always on that same corner each day.
