July 25, 2010: It rained all day today so a good day for indoor projects. We repair a broken day/night shade and make a video of a Yamaha generator which is not working correctly.

July 23, 2010: It was a busy day with an early start. We are having a generator problem and the Yamaha dealer in Albuquerque said they would squeeze me in today if I got the generator to them by 9 am. That meant leaving a bit after 7 am for the drive. So we came up with several other reasons to visit Albuquerque and probably criss-crossed the town 3 or 4 times solving one problem or another. As we came back to Santa Fe we could see giant thunderheads raining on Santa Fe with the mountains obscured. We did have breakfast at a very nice, recommended coffee shop in downtown Albuquerque.

July 22, 2010: A wonderful day for a tough bicycle ride in a large loop including Los Alamos, New Mexico. The weather was perfect but still very hot while climbing a steep five mile climb at 12% grade. I've never sweated so much due to the steepness of the grade.

July 21, 2010: Sorry, no photos today, just didn't take any. The day began with a hour-half bike ride with 1800 feet of climbing. It felt great. I tried to do an easy ride because I'm doing a longer group ride tomorrow but there is no such thing as an easy ride from our campsite. Gwen and I took ourselves to a nice Santa Fe restaurant for brunch after my ride then spent the rest of the afternoon trying to locate a laundramat and a Yamaha dealer to look at our generator. Both were frustrating. Gwen and I made a bet on the Tour de France outcome so I may get some new riding gear after I win the bet. All my current riding gear is old and faded, including the rider.
