December 21, 2009: This is Winter Solstice, from now on, the sun will be higher in the sky. This was a tough solar day, solid clouds all day but still got 23 amp Hours of solar but needed 123. We visited the Yuma Proving Ground, an army base only 5 miles from us. They have $1 hot dogs and drinks on Monday with a free movie. Monty and Becky guided us since they have be going for years. It was easy to get a pass, just needed a drivers license for every individual plus a copy of the vehicle registration and vehicle insurance.
