December 23, 2010: Today was repair day. I damaged our awning some time ago and finally got all the parts for the repair. I also delivered trash to the transfer station, delivered mail to the post office and brought home twenty gallons of water for our holding tank.

December 22, 2010: Since it was a rainy day we went to a movie to see, "The Tourist" with Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. It wasn't my choice but as it turned out, it was an "OK" movie with an unexpected ending. It was fun seeing the desert fill with puddles of water.

December 21, 2010: The weatherman continues to threaten rain but today was mostly mist then rain but enough to keep the desert floor wet. I worked all day on preparing the college class I teach for the winter quarter and I have several hours of preparation to go. If you read my summer description of the camp hosting job, you already know that these hours of preparation are UNPAID.
