December 9, 2010: Today was a busy computer day. I scored college student final exams and posted final course grades. Once that was complete I could finally install the new modem from Hughesnet. I've had the modem for 3 months but chose NOT to install because the last modem was defective and it took me ten days to get it replaced. I could NOT be offline that length of time while teaching a college class. This modem install OK until the final screen which went blank. I had to get help from the online Satelite Internet group using Ralph's computer and connection. With the information from that group, I fixed the problem and was back online around 9 pm. Hopefully, no more problems.
