October 23, 2005: Do you remember about 7 weeks ago when I climbed into trees to string my cable for satellite Internet? Gwen and I will be returning to Howard Prairie Lake Resort again next year and having cables running through trees is not acceptable in this wilderness setting so my major weekend project was to dig a trench and bury the cable. Be patient, there are lots of photos to load.

October 22, 2005: Yesterday I did an errand requested by Morgan. Morgan has always wanted the rear window in the pickup tinted. She has put up with the bright, hot sun coming through that window and has been pestering me to get it tinted since we bought Big Blue.

October 21, 2005: Each day I get to view the different fall colors as I drive from 5000 feet to 1800 feet. It's like driving through different climate zones.

October 20, 2005: The kayaks must be returned to Grants Pass. Gwen is taking care of that while I'm at work. She's also meeting Gordon, the pump man to learn why we have no water at home.
