September 23, 2010: Guess what's happening on Monday. A new college business class is beginning and I'm the instructor. I've spent the day getting the course ready and trying to learn the new course interface software the college has installed. Fortunately I have copies of all my notes from previous classes (I believe this will be my eighth year to teach this course). Now I must get all the notes in the right place for the 25 students to find the lessons. I believe 25 is the maximum number of students the college allows to enroll in an online course so I'd say the class is full. Usually 10 - 20% of the students drop out in the first two weeks so the class should be more manageable. Imagine trying to answer questions from 25 students emailing you at the same time.
