It's July! A nice
morning of watching
the Tour de France then
a ride of my own. I found
another historic building
on one of the rural roads
only 3 miles out of town.

June 29, 2012: I was
preparing today for
the Tour de France
beginning tomorrow morning
by riding another 36 miles
this afternoon. There is
wonderful rural road riding
around Douglas County.

headed out today for
a nice ride on a cloudy
day but only 2 miles into
the ride, rain began ... I turned
around, made it to our awning just
before the rain began in ernest. I set
up my trainer, mounted the bike
and rode under the awning.
