| _____________________________________ Friday, April 19, 2013 This was a driving day from Sutherlin to Roseburg (to rent a car) then to Lodi, California to visit Mom. The driving distance is about 540 miles. Enterprise car rental is the only rental agency in Roseburg. They had one car available so had to give me an Altima even though I only paid for an economy car. I like the Altima because it's larger, comfortable and still gets 35+ miles per gallon. I stopped in Medford to pick up some groceries (vegan menu) then drove non-stop for 440 miles to Lodi. The Altima fuel tank has a nice range, I still had more than 1/4 tank. Mom had a nice vegetarian meal waiting when I arrived. |
