June 30, 2010: Today was a long day away from the campsite. We drove into Albuquerque to walk through Old Town and do some grocery shopping. It was perfect weather. We discovered the Cottonwood Mall in Albuquerque which is one of the largest we've visited since leaving Oregon.

June 29, 2010: Only a few miles from our campsite is the trailhead for Red Canyon trail into the Manzano Mountain Wilderness Area. We had no surprize electrical storm so it was a great day for a hike.

June 28, 2010: For the last two days the high and low temperatures have been interesting. The low temperature actually occured at 5 pm while the high temperature occured a little after noon. The reason is the afternoon thunderstorms, they arrive and the temperature dips drastically. We did a tour just before this afternoon's thunderstorm to the Quarai Pueblo Mission nearby.
