June 18, 2005: Yes, the weather report at right is only wishful hoping. I am not in southern Oregon today, I'm in Lodi, California visiting my parents over the Father's Day weekend. I will not be returning until Thursday, June 23 when I will bring the weather reports up-to-date and continue with "What's New". Perhaps this would be a good time to check the archive below to learn how we got to this time. I hope you all have a great Father's Day.

June 17, 2005: Here comes the rain again just in time for the weekend campers. The Friday before Memorial Day was an especially stormy evening at the lake. I set up my tripod and took several photos of the storm over the lake. I used some special camera effects for some of the photos. I'm sharing those with you today and to make it more fun, asking you to vote for your favorite photo. You'll understand when you view What's New.

June 15, 2005: It is not surprising how the improving weather also improves the good times that the fulltime RV campers have at the resort. Bicycles, water toys, and barbeques are starting to appear at the resort. These temperatures may not seem high, but as 4,600 feet, 60° feels very comfortable. Jackson continues with the story of his visit today.

June 14, 2005: About ten days ago Jackson and Mindy, my daughter, visited Gwen and I at our resort experiment. We all had a great time during their visit inspite of cold weather. Jackson begins his story today of their visit. Since the visit was three days, it will take Jackson three days to tell the story. We love having visitors at the lake.

June 13, 2005: Aah! The weather is perfect for mountain biking. Morgan and I went on our usual ride yesterday but something unusual happened. We met a bear! It's today's What's New. Jackson will begin his story of visiting Howard Prairie Lake Resort tomorrow.
