March 23, 2012: Today was ladies day out. Janet and Gwen took the truck to Oakhurst while Ralph and I stayed home. I worked at cleaning out all my storage compartments looking for items to discard and items to donate to the Park Sierra fund raising auction which will happen during Stagecoach Daze in April. It will also lighten our load. I met Ron who is collecting items for the auction. Ron hits golf balls with a driver from his lot to a wooded location across Coarsegold Creek then he drives his golf cart through the creek to retrieve his balls. It works great except the rattlesnakes are beginning to wake up from winter so he leaves any balls close to rocks and tree roots until next winter. He saw one today (showing me it's diameter with thumb and forefinger). Sounds safer than cycling on the roads around here.

the community class I'm
teaching. Most of the day
was taken scoring finals
and the last assignment
then assigning course grades.
