own several stunt kites plus
single line kites. The local
kite club met today to fly
kites together and invited
the community to watch
and fly with them. I drug
Ralph, Bob and Dick along
with me to enjoy the event.

in the harbor at Corpus Christi.

day in Port Aransas. It's a busy
tourist town full of shops of
souvenirs and beach gear.
We found a great Catfish lunch.

March 8, 2011: Notice only 3.6 degrees between the high and low temperatures today. This was a tough solar day but enjoyable as our first day on the gulf coast. We briefly visited Port Aransas today but will return tomorrow for more.

March 7, 2011: We've made it to the Texas Gulf coast. Corpus Christi came into view about noon today after leaving Hondo early this morning. What a wonderful campsite was waiting for us.
