Friday, October 2, 2026:
Gwen and I ar members of the Rincon Country East photo
club. As members it became our responsibility to
populate the club's photo display board for the first
two weeks of October. That's what we worked on
today. Several of the photos I printed today using
our own printer rather than the club's superior
printer. There are a variety of photos from the
Tucson area, plus California and Oregon views. |

| Tuesday, September 29,
2026: A couple in Rincon Country East hosted a
nice lunch for 60 members in the park. It's difficult to
pass up free food. |

Monday, September 28,
2026: Today was working on the new Eufy security system.
I already have a Blink security system but while I was
in Oregon nearly every camera battery died and Gwen was
not familiar with changing the batteries. The Eufy
doorbell I installed is hardwired and the two new Eufy
cameras are solar powered. Additionally, the Blink
system cost $12/month to save video while the Eufy
system requires no fee for video capture. I also need
far fewer cameras since the Eufy cameras will follow any
person which crosses the field of view. I plan to still
maintain the Blink system but can't expect it to last
longer than three months without changing or charging
the batteries. Click the left photo for a short

Sunday, September 27,
2026: Gwen has been going to lunch with lady friends all
summer. I was invited to go with them today. I was the
"token male". Their choice was Laverna's Coffee House
and Cafe because it was cheap. I ordered a green
chili omelette with cheese. Unfortunately I failed to
ask what kind of cheese. It turned out to be American
cheese which is pure POISON! I've learned my lesson and
will remember to ask the kind of cheese next time. I
ended up on the end of the group so had little
conversation with the ladies. After breakfast the
ladies wanted to visit the nearby new, larger, Trader
Joe's. I've never seen the TJ attraction but many,
including these ladies, do. Click both photos for

Thursday -
Saturday: September 17 - 26, 2026: This has been a long
travel time. First to Reno, Nevada to visit the kids and
grandkids. I have two grandchildren in the NICA Mountain
Bike races, Noah and Lucy. Noah placed first in his race
while Lucy placed seventh. Dave enjoyed seeing Joe and
Casey again and we both enjoyed staying in Joe's house.
Then we had a long drive through the Nevada high desert
to Boulder City, Nevada for the night. Noise from the
Best Western neighbor got us out of bed at 4 am. We
skipped the BW breakfast to drive the rest of the trip
to Tucson, Arizona. This is a great time in the Rincon
Country East RV Resort because the RVers have not
arrived yet so not busy. Behind the sunset photo you
will find the first Scorpion we've seen on our carport.
