I know you will find this hard to believe but we have been at the resort for 4 months and last night, August 15, 2005, was our first campfire. I think the reasons are many ... too tired, too busy with outdoor recreation, not enough firewood. I had already noticed that most campers that come for 2 - 3 days immediately fix a fire their first night. There is just something about a campfire that makes camping worthwhile. Last night just turned out to be the right night for our first fire. This photograph was taken with a 13 second exposure time at F5.6 for those photographers who care. |
