Physicians Assistant Graduation
For Ben and Kim
| August 20, 2005: This day was not necessarily an "RV Adventure", however, Gwen and traveled from our RV to Portland, Oregon to celebrate the graduation of Ben and Kim from Pacific University Physician Assistant Studies where they both received Masters Degrees with Honors. This was traveling from the California border to the Washington state border. We drove immediately to the pre-graduation dinner, above. Katie is attending college to prepare to be an English teacher while Brian is already a PE instructor and coach.
Ben's Mother lives in Fernley Nevada about two hours from where Kim and Ben will be Physician's Assistants in Minden Nevada.
The Pacific University Campus is a very attractive campus with many new buildings constructed within the last five years.

After waving to the crowd, Kim accepts her diploma with dignity. If you are brave you can ask her about her Master's Thesis, thank goodness she did NOT have her PowerPoint presentation with her when I asked about it.
Ben receives his diploma but the President of the University seems to find Ben's skinny legs attractive as you will notice when you pass your mouse through his photo. Ben's Master's Thesis concerned wilderness first aid so you'd still be able to eat your lunch after viewing his PowerPoint presentation.
