August 7, 2009: Our intention was to stay in Sumpter, Oregon for three days prior to arriving at John Day, Oregon. However, we had a tire problem again on the trailer (I decided to spare you the photos of flat tires) so we changed our plan and came to John Day instead where there is a Les Schwab dealer. We replaced the rubber on both the truck and trailer. I had planned to do this before leaving Oregon in September (to save on sales tax) but decided I didn't want any more tire problems and there was no more reason to delay. We are parked in a very nice field at the Grant County Fairgrounds in John Day.
